Whether you prefer a predictable monthly payment, want to lock in your propane price or choose market-based pricing, our Energy Support Specialists can help you select the option that best fits your household usage, appliances and budget.

Budget Payment Plan with Price Protection

Our Budget Payment Plan offers predictable monthly payments, helping you plan ahead and avoid larger seasonal heating bills.

Solid Price Protection

Lock-in your price per gallon for the entire contract year. If the market goes up or down, your price will remain the same.

No Enrollment Fee

The 2026–27 plan includes 12 monthly payments based on your household’s average propane consumption. Payments are due on the 20th of each month, beginning in July 2026.

Contact Allied Cooperative’s Propane Customer Service team to confirm your estimated gallons, budget amount and protected price.

To qualify for the Budget Payment Plan your account must be current and you must have approved credit. Allied Cooperative may terminate the plan if your account exceeds our credit terms (budget payments are not made). To enroll in the budget program, complete and return the budget contract section of this brochure. The Budget Payment Plan does not automatically put you on a Scheduled Delivery Program. Call the office to sign up for Scheduled Delivery.

Guaranteed Price Propane Prepay Program


Our Guaranteed-Price Propane Prepay Program allows you to pay in advance and lock in the price of your contracted propane gallons for the period of September 15, 2026, through April 30, 2027. Propane deliveries made during the contract period will be applied to your prepaid balance first.

This is a fixed-price propane contract. If market prices fall below your contracted price, the contracted price will remain in effect. After April 30, 2027, any unused prepaid funds will be credited to your Allied Cooperative account for future purchases. A refund check may be requested after that date.

Prepay program requirements: 

  • Payment in full is required at the time of enrollment. 
  • The program applies to bulk propane purchases only. 
  • Minimum propane delivery requirements apply. 
  • Your regular account balance must remain within Allied Cooperative’s 30-day credit terms. Allied Cooperative reserves the right to void the contract if the account becomes past due. 
  • At least half of the contracted gallons must be delivered by April 30, 2027, or a $100 service charge will apply. 
  • Prepay contracts must be completed by September 15, 2026.
The Prepay Program and Budget Payment Plan DOES NOT automatically put you on the Scheduled Delivery Program. Call the office to sign up for Scheduled Delivery.

Tank Monitoring – Know your Level Anytime

Take the guesswork out of managing your propane supply with Allied Cooperative’s propane tank monitoring service. Tank monitors are especially helpful for customers who manage their own propane levels, have a second home or seasonal property, or simply want an easier way to keep track of fuel usage.

Our tank monitors automatically check your propane level each day and allow you to view your tank status from your smartphone. You can also set alerts to notify you when your propane reaches a predetermined level, helping you plan ahead and avoid unexpected run-outs.

Knowing your tank level can also help prevent the need for same-day, after-hours or weekend propane deliveries and the additional charges those services may require. Minimal monitoring fees apply.

Summer Propane Fill – Plan Ahead and Save

You may not be heating your home during the summer, but it’s still a great time to think about your propane needs for the coming season. Summer is traditionally one of the best times to fill your propane tank, when demand is lower and pricing is often more favorable than during peak heating season.

Filling your tank early can help you prepare for winter, avoid the seasonal rush and take advantage of Allied Cooperative’s propane pricing and payment options.

What to Do If You Smell Propane Gas

If you smell propane at your home, farm or business, act immediately. Follow these six important safety steps:

  • Avoid flames and sparks. Do not light matches, smoke, use electrical switches, appliances, phones or anything else that could create a spark.
  • Leave the area immediately. Get everyone out of the building or affected area.
  • Shut off the propane supply, if it is safe to do so. Close the main gas supply valve on your propane tank.
  • Report the suspected leak. From a safe location, contact Allied Cooperative or your local fire department for assistance.
  • Do not return to the building or area until a qualified professional has determined it is safe.
  • Have your propane system checked. Before using your propane system again, a qualified service technician should inspect the system and correct any problems.

Never ignore the smell of propane. Acting quickly and following proper safety procedures can help protect you, your family and your property.
